StatCloud9 is a web-based tool for statistical analysis in the cloud that takes a different, better approach to analyzing surveys and other sample data.

It is geared towards market researchers, social scientists, journalists, and students and aims to:

Dramatically increase the productivity of analysts
Make sophisticated statistical procedures accessible to a broad audience
Encourage transparency in the research process
An initial version is in production use at a limited number of consultancies, development is on-going, and full public launch is slated for mid-2011.
